I'm a little late in updating... but my baby made her debut last July 17 at 1:22 AM.

Alyanna Rielle is what we named her.

There's so much to share about the labor and delivery process - it went quickly and painful... but all worth the joy that my daughter brings me now.

I will post pictures when I get a chance. =)

I will have the little one out of me...

The fear is setting in... I guess it's normal...

I have done what I could do to prepare I guess... but who really is 100% ready when a baby comes?

There are days that I just find me my comfy spot (which has been very difficult these days!) and just spend time rubbing my huge belly and talk to her.

Layla finds me doing this and comes thinking that baby A is "owie" and she rubs my belly along with me.

I worked on her little area of the closet this weekend and then the thought of what happens if the 3 sonograms were wrong and she comes out a he... oye...

These days I pray to get through the day, for us to be kept healthy and safe, and for me to be able to tolerate the pain I am starting to feel. I am starting to get contractions every so often... but way far apart so I know it's not time yet.

To my LJ friends who have sent warm thoughts and prayers my way, I thank you and ask,if it's not too much, that you please continue.

Baby A got her first set of shower gifts... thanks Auntie Joy!!! *mwah*

Layla helped me open the packages and we spent about 2 hours talking about baby baths and Baby A swimming in the baby tub! It was a cute (looooong) conversation!

So... baby A has decided that she needs more room in my belly. With her extra stretching, my Mom and Allan saw my skin move - stretching and wave-like... weird! I, of course didn't see it because I was feeling it!

My belly continues to move and grow throughout the day... I carry her low in the morning, but by the time the afternoon comes, she is riding high and wide...

The crazy thing is that I feel as heavy as a whale... but according to my doctor, I have only gained a total of about 8 lbs. I guess I lost weight and didn't notice??? I am expected to gain 20 lbs. the next 6-8 weeks and I seriously don't know if I will still fit the maternity clothes I have now. I have had to buy maternity bras... they are comfy but definitely not the prettiest. And they don't match the maternity (granny) undies!

The cool thing is that each time Allan catches me looking at myself in the mirror rubbing my belly, he comes up to tell me how beautiful I am... =)

Allan and I found out earlier this week that we are expecting a baby girl... YEY!

So... on Sunday... Layla comes up to me and talks to my tummy and says "Hi baby, les (let's) play..."

Oooh so cute!

So... I'm a little bit farther along than we thought... I am approaching 15 weeks!

Doc originally gave us an EDD of August 4th... that has changed to the last week of July.

I've had a couple of doctor visits... seen the baby both times... and I balled the first time... there really is someone in there!

I went through the NT test... all is well... but I seriously have had so much blood tests done that my arm automatically goes into position for the blood to be drawn.

Allan and I have been talking about names. I better get the names we agreed on together down on paper. He might change the names when I get sedated... LOL.

Layla has been very sweet... she wants to share her toys and her books with the baby. When I tell her the baby can't play yet or can't read yet, she'll ask "when?". She's been excited by the thought of being the big cousin since she's the little one right now.

One thing that I am taking away from all of this is that God really does a lot of wonderful things. Allan and I tried for a long time to try and conceive and when we stopped the worrying and all the things I was subjecting my body to and just let God do His work... well, here we are =)

A friend is in the hospital right now after suffering brain aneurysm... she's had 3 surgeries since yesterday morning...

Just last week I got an invite from her daughter to watch their v-ball game since her Mom was helping coach. I didn't get to go =(
